The figure shows the method for measuring the parallelism error of the tool rest on the cross beam guide rail of Longmen planer, Longmen milling machine and vertical lathe when moving horizontally. The maximum error of the indicator reading on the tool rack on every 1000mm stroke and the width of the workbench is the parallelism error.
